I've been putting estrogen pills on my friend's food as a prank

Ok, I know the title sounds crazy but trust me, this actually happened just yesterday

So, there's this friend of mine who I'll just refer to as Joe to avoid any personal info about him being known on the Internet

Joe and I are well known in school for the pranks we pull to each other. We never hesitate to follow an extreme approach on the matter sometimes. Some may view such relationships as toxic, but that's just our love language, it's how we interact, if that makes sense.

However, I took things way too far, with this prank I pulled...

You see, my sister is transgender and has been taking estrogen pills that her doctor prescribed for quite some time now, without our parents knowing. One day, she left the bottle of pills on the desk, and that's when this crazy idea of mine pooped up in my head for a prank.

Every day, I'd steal two or three pills from the bottle and put in my pocket. Then, during lunch time, I'd insist to bring the tray of food to my Joe, so in the process I'd have the time to hide the pills in his food. This has been going on for a year and whether it was in his salad, soup, or sandwich, he never suspected a thing... until yesterday...

It was a Tuesday morning, a few minutes before the first period started and he started telling me that he's been noticing some weird changes in his body lately... It's worth noting that his breasts have grown a little, but only a little bit , to the point it resembles those of a teenage girl's. And that's when I immediately bursted out of laughter and straight up told him about the whole thing. I thought he'd laugh and come up with a creative way to pay me back, but he didn't...

Instead, he looked at me in shock thinking I'm joining or anything but got the answer he was looking for after showing him the pills I was about to put in his lunch today.

He stood up from his seat and started yelling at me, saying that I ruined him and that he's been feeling so uncomfortable with this body and stuff like that. Our classmates were looking at us, others amused, whist other curious or weirded out by this whole thing. Eventually, he ran off crying.

Since then, thing's been going downhill for me. Joe told the principal and suspended me for the week, even threatening to expell me, Joe doesn't respond to my texts or calls and my sister is furious since not only have I been stealing her pills, but our parents found out in the process resulting in her having a huge argument about it. I think I heard my parents telling her they are gonna disown her, but I'm not sure.

Have I screwed up?
