setting up the sound effects to fit with the player movement was a nightmare. i fixed it by creating empty animations for walking, crouching, and jumping and then putting a play sound functions in each of them. so much time was lost today just getting shit to work again, whenever i add a new mechanic five break. whatever i'm happy i got it running. also started working on collision sfx and gonna continue on that tomorrow. i need to create some sort of audio manager so this project wont be a nightmare to manage once it grows bigger.
