Unheard Silence

The world is changing rapidly,

Technology advancing,

School shootings happening,

Teens vaping, smoking, fighting.

Wars raging, people dying,

Parents mourning, hearts breaking,

Soldiers falling, families aching,

Longing for a loved one, hoping, praying.

Yet the world still spins in this never-ending circle,

So many people, too many unspoken words,

So many dreams undone before death judges us.
