Kid-Friendly Anime Which Aren't Ghibli That I am Trying To Get My Little Baby Sibling To Watch

Yeah. I am an older sister. brother. sibling. whatever i don't care but yeah i was born....9 years? (bad at math) before they were, therefore, they are a baby. 

Anyway, I've been trying to show them anime, but then realise, 'oh. i can't show them these shows' when i look through the anime that i watch. Some are too gory or scary and such and so, so I have compiled here a list of anime that i **think** are okay for kids in their age range. (7-10)

Also, no hate to Ghibli, I LOVE ghibli movies, just that i already see that on every 'kid friendly' anime list and want to give different options.

The Precure (Pretty Cure) franchise. 『プリキュア』

Precure is all about magical girls, the power of friendship and whatnot. The more recent ones are Delicious Party Precure Wonderful Precure iirc. I haven't watched those yet, but I've watched some other ones before and think that it's okay. The Precure franchise is targeted towards kids, so as far as I know it's not inappropriate, and they have a lot of pretty characters which i think younger kids will particularly like.

Kaitou Joker (also known as Mysterious Joker.)

May be scary for younger kids, but those maybe 8-9 and above will love it, i can vouch, i was OBSESSED with this show when i was younger ^^ A fun mystery of the week type of show, Kaito Joker is similar to Detective Conan, in a way. This used to be aired on Disney XD with the English dub, so it should be pretty family friendly.

Sanrio (and Sanrio-x)

Onegai My Melody, Little Twin Stars, any Sanrio, San-x cartoon, actually. Gudetama, Rilakkuma, Sumikko Gurashi. Sanrio is more marketed towards children, so the shows they make are family friendly :) Aggretsuko i think is more for adults but other than that I think sanrio's a pretty solid choice. You can surprisingly find a lot of stuff on YouTube.

overall, I think what is considered "okay" or not differs from person to person because some people who have strict religious parents (people like me)  will have different standards of what is and isn't acceptable for children to see

i think these shows are more family friendly and don't have excessive swearing, nudity, etc, and thus are suitable for younger audiences, but it's not my responsibility to monitor what your children (or younger siblings) are watching or what you are showing them. what media they are consuming is your responsibility to monitor, these are only recommendations for people who are looking for shows to watch that are family friendly from a random person. I'm not a professional critic or anything like that.
