I don't want to be friends with people younger than me

Hey I should've probably done this sooner. But because I had never used this site before I just kinda added people left and right because I genuinely just wanted to get to know the site and make friends.

But I will say, if you are younger than 18 I don't want to be friends with you.

Not because you're lame or I think just because you're young you're boring, but it's really just because of the age.

When I was 13 and even until I was 15 I always wanted to be friends with older people as well, I would wonder why they didn't want to be my friend.

But now that I'm 18, I get it. Being friends with someone younger than you is just a little weird ykno. Also you can't relate to the person, certain topics need to be avoided. And mainly as the older person, you don't want to be a negative influence on someone.

You may not think that you are impressionable (easily influenced) I thought so too a few years back, but I assure you, you ARE. And that isn't something to be ashamed of or embarrassed of, it's perfectly normal and understandable for someone in their teens.

So all that said and done, don't add me if you're below 18

And I promise to anyone who might be thinking this. No, older people are not cooler. 

So pinky promise you're not missing out on anything.
