as a super sensitive person who cries to almost everything, im honestly super shocked that ive never cried to music. no matter how sad, nostalgic, or whatever; music has never filled me with an emotion to push me to cry. if it has, it is only because i was crying before hand.
i've heard a lot of people describe songs that make them cry, and i understand its not always because it makes them sad, but i just feel so disconnected from that experience. i HAVE felt super intensely about music because it is one of my favorite things in the world. although, all those feelings were mostly positive or maybe even sentimental. i sometimes wish music could make me cry because i cry to literally everything. i cry to movies, conversations, even HEARING someones bad experience. i dont mean this in a "omg so SUCH an empath", but the fact that someone could randomly describe a sort of sad situation to me and i would break down crying is insane when songs about horrible situations dont make me cry.
i guess this blog is a rant, but also a question. do others cry to music, and if so, what songs??? im genuinely curious. maybe one will actually do it for me :^)
