if i had to do a list of the musicians that affected my life the most, youd be the first name that would comes to mind. i remember at the end of last year, when i and a friend of mine were talking about what we wanted to be on next year, and i said that i wanted to be james hetfield. not only as a guitarist, singer, songwriter and frontman, but also as a man, a person, i always admired you so much. your confidence, your strength, your attitude. in a life where all i had was people that i wanted to be the exact opposite, you were one of the very first people i truly looked up to. 

and there was always so much comfort in you. that heartwarming feeling, in hearing your voice, or watching you play. in a house where i couldnt find any comfort at all, all i could do was sit at the corner of my bed, put on my earphones and live through you. and the relatable lyrics, relating to you as a whole, made me feel so much better. i always thought we were so much alike, cause youre just a man, that happened to be one of greatest musicians to ever live. no fancy clothes, no botoxed trophy wife, no mansions. just a man. seeing myself in you always brought me peace and comfort, and saved me many times. 

im not able to express through words everything you mean to me. i just wish you live a long life, full of good health and happiness. from the very bottom of my heart, i love you, and thank you, for everything.
