Fishing and family drama

Date: 2 august 2024 

I went fishing yesterday with my friend but we didn't catch any fish, I'm not sad abt it though. I still had a good time hanging out. We biked to the sea and fished, bathed, and ate snacks. On the way home we were very tired from biking so much, and there were a lot of hills on the way back. We stopped at the end of the forest we had biked thru and decided to get a lift from one of our parents. I had a lot of wounds cs I managed to hit every branch, rock and bush on my way thru. When we were waiting to get picked up this 80 yr old man asked if a "darkskinned boy" had passed us. We said "yes" cs he had. Then he went on abt how black ppl and africans are fast, it was way too long of a conversation but he wouldn't stop talking, and we had to wait there so we couldn't exactly leave. Also I had to sit in the trunk cs otherwise the bikes woudn't fit. I had to stop the bike from falling out the trunk too cs it couldn't close, so I had to hold on to it. When I got home I immediately had to work which sucked. I worked till 21:30, then I got to go home. 

Today I've been working on school projects that have to be done before school starts (oddly enough). My mom yelled at me to come downstairs and I always fear the worst when she does that. I came downstairs and heard her and my brother fighting, like usual. And she said "your brother gets upset when u don't take care of your dishes and trash." Then my brother said: "No I'm not upset at him I'm upset at you (our mom) for scolding only me for how the kitchen looks." So I was in the middle of their fight which I hated. And now for the rest of the evening I will hear loud slams from them angrily closing doors and cabinets. I didn't even put any dishes on the bench (it was my other brother). I just hate having to tiptoe around the house as not to upset anyone. The problem is, I can take my parents shitting on me without retaliating that much, my brother can't. He stands up for himself if they are being disrespectful towards him (which tbh they are). I hate fighting so I just let them walk all over me, and trust me fighting with them NEVER ends with u winning.
