minor tf2 brainrot rant

i still feel like i dont know a lot about this game lmfao, but ive been reading the comics and its been really entertaining. omfg comic pyro is SO CUTE!!! ugh my god i want 2 just affectionately sqeeze the shit outta pyro and the turrets from portal bc theyre super cute wtf 

also i started going on the actual like offical servers, which ik u guys warned me about but lemme explain. so i got kinda bored of 2fort and seeing the same map all the time, plus i wanted 2 level up and i didnt understand how contracts worked and wasnt understanding why my contact was off. so i decided to give uncletopia a go agian, and from what i remember last time i joined there was a lot of people. but i joined one and there were only 2 people on there? so i walked around super confused and heard some player use voice saying "ze pyro is a spy!" DAWG IM NOT A SPY IM JUST CONFUSED LMFAO 😭 

so i left, joined the second sydney server and NO ONE was there. but some guy joined and then explained 2 me that all the bots were gone and everyone was on casual. so i left and joined a casual server and FINALLY my level and contract was going up. so i guess now i have new info to internally write down. note 2 self: if no one is on uncletopia, theyre on the offical servers* (this may change in the future) 

recently i did this contract and got a gun that i had to use 4 it and omg, i HATED THIS FUCKING GUN. the dragons fury or whatever. i literally cant stand how slow it was. oh my god, im so glad i dont have 2 use that shit anymore. 

anyway, some other random shit. so like i was thinkin 2 myself about the accent of the characters like theyre pretty stereotypical and a bit over the top right, thats the whole joke. so like im aussie right and when someone else is aussie my fuckin spider senses go off when i hear an accent, but watching meet the sniper it didnt happen immediately. gotta be real, he sounds british. well, more specifically he sounds like if he is aussie he had british parents and also sounds WAY older than he is in terms of his accent. like his accent isnt too bad but for his age, which is like what mid 40s or something? he sounds like REALLY old, accent wise. but 2day i started the actual tf2 lore comics and it was established that the series is set in 1972 or something right? which honestly surprised me but at the same time didnt. cuz i saw a guy do a kill count for the movie X which is set in 1970 something and one of the guys served in Vietnam and had the metal necklace, i didnt realise that was a war or a vietnam war thing so i was like "wait did scout serve in the vietnam war? and does that mean tf2 is set in the 70s?" so yea i was right, at least about it being the 70s 

but with the whole accent thing, it being the 70s actually changes the whole thing. like aussies sounded wayyyy more british back then, so the reason why i sound sniper sounded so old accent wise is because well.. he IS old accent wise because this is an 70s aussie accent. so honestly this makes it way more accurate tbh, lol

anyway that was a looonnggg dumb rant, cya
