So, I've happened across a video by HealthyGamerGG (also known as Dr. K) that was very interesting.
I never really thought I had anxiety since I never felt "worried" about life all the time, but I may need to get introspective and reevaluate that after watching this video.
In a nutshell, men experience anxiety in the form of a perceived helplessness in situations that is exacerbated by the brain. Men are normally taught to fix our problems instead of dwelling on them, so when we perceive that we cannot solve the problems in our life, we develop stress. This perceived helplessness can cause actually unsolvable problems down the line which reinforces the anxiety and stress. It's a negative feedback loop.
I've found a lot of things in life to be unsolvable or of the utmost difficulty. I wonder if I developed this outlook because of male-type anxiety instead my problems actually being all that bad.
