Let me preface this by saying: I've never gone to a "teenage party." I've never even been invited to one, matter of fact.Β
But do they really exist?
Like who on this platform can say they've gone to parties like they see in American movies.Β
I don't get it..

I've never been invited to a teen party (;-;) too but they're definitely real alot of my classmates and some of my friends have been invited. My friends just said it was overhyped lol.

Well I live in Southeast Asia and a big majority of us here have strict Asian parents so no but I wouldnβt be surprised if those rich kids who go to private international schools have since some of them tend to have more laidback parents. Regardless teenage parties are rather a foreign concept to me, I can barely organise a hang out with people at a mall without 5 people saying they canβt so we just cancel it altogether. Idk what to even do at a party, dance? Eat? Idk man sitting at home watching a video essay with snacks seems a lot more amusing to me but Iβm an introvert so thatβs just my preferences

no literally. and how do people just decide theyre gonna throw one, like do they just get bored one day and do it or does it take months of strategic planning before they happen. and how do you decide and who can go and who doesnt, do you invite people or do they just turn up or what im actually so confused.

No cuz youβd have to know a lot of people to do something like that but irl I feel like if you invited 50 people, like 15 at the very least are gonna show up
