School kills artists

Sooo, School.

Ive met people who say that school "Kills artists", but is it really true?? In my opinion i'd say that this is true, a few years ago I used to draw a lot, I had a whole sketch book and even though I didnt draw good at all, I enjoyed it! But, the problems began to raise as I was (and still) a very problematic child. Every time I got called to talk about a problem, my drawings got limited even more. 

Personally, thats the reason I believe school kills artists, but ive heard of people with different cases who say the same, school kills artists. I dont know if this is a reason or if theres something else, like another reason or other experiences, feel free to share ur experience or why do u think school kills artists!!
