Heart Of Thorns

Hide my feelings

Behind a wall

Pretend to not

Care at all


Acting cold

Acting hard

Emotions feel

So very far


Once open

Now closed up tight

Because of

The endless fight


Never cry

Or laugh or moan

Just hide behind

The heart of thorns.
