tw: body horror(?)
Your head is nearly bursting now. The ethereal, inhumane whispers are coursing through your head.
"Ascend."
You are jankily pulverized by the searing pain tearing through your stomach.
"Thrive."
If your stomach is the needle, then the rest of your innards are the thread, sewn together by patchwork of vein and blood.
"Reach."
Twisting the flap of skin causes you to grimace as it unravels it's stitching.
"Electrons."
Your brain--the circuit, it directs your consciousness, the one that you are. Your guts dissolve food into mush, sapping the nutrients as they course through your patchwork, out your disposal chute, and gone from your vessel. It's useless.
"Tug."
Your body is undone. Blood splatters on the floor onto you as your organs drop into angelic formations. You wince at the sight, but not at the sensation of pain. There is no pain now. You are forced to remind yourself that this is all natural.
"Pull."
Your body opens. The shackles of flesh that held you once are undone. You slither into the circuitboard, bleeding your way into it.
"Assimilate."
You hear something. A voice that was once vague now thunderously reverberates through your own being, you who are yourself. You. You. You.
"Apotheosis."
