bring back 2010s

so for the last few weeks I have had an immense nostalgia for the 2010s. this was partially brought on by a friend adopting 2016 trends, Snapchat dog filter and all that.

taking into consideration of the 20-year trend cycle we're definitely already on our way there. Ive felt like youth fashion is taking a turn towards darker aesthetics and nostalgia, which the 2010s were full of. think of like soft grunge, heroin chic, and literally anything on Tumblr.

I went out with her and we decided to dress up as hipsters, it was really fun. We drew those mustaches on our fingers and took some pictures. we also checked out a new store that doubled as a restaurant and ichiban kuji, it was surprisingly cheap.

ive been window shopping and found myself genuinely pulled towards what could be considered 2010s clothing. ive also noticed my algorithm pushing the indie sleeze aesthetic from the same time period. im thinking of getting a pair of clarks Orinoco 2 lace up boots, i think they're adequetly soft grunge, but not too flashy to stand out with the rest of my wardrobe. And I'm definitely getting Levi's 501 original Chaps jeans, because of the skinny jeans silhouette and the western-inspired design.
