Public Diary 6/29/24

Hi, diary! It's been a long freaking time, and I apologize about that. But I've got a few interesting updates! I ran my first-ever official Dungeons And Dragons campaign on Wednesday! It was super fun and all my players had a GREAT time. I can't wait to see where the plot brings us. Even as the dm I await the twisty and turny road of a good adventure!

There's a lot of work drama between the managers and one of my favorite co-workers quit. I'm trying not to let it get to me because it's just a job, I go there on weekends to make sandwiches, get paid, and dip out. But things are going downhill really fast. I might have to think about going somewhere else. I know several places I could reapply to that would willingly take me in. 

My parents left town for the entire week but they came back tonight. We got in around the same time and we were all really exhausted, but I'm glad they're safe and had fun! They don't get to go places often because they have a lot of responsibilities here at the house, and they take care of my grandparents and stuff. 

But it's now 2am and I'm sitting on the phone with my best friend discussing my college classes for the next two years. This stuff is really scary, being dually enrolled in full-time college and high school, and having a job, and getting my license is terrifying. Time keeps moving really fast and in like two years I'll be moving to college, that's a terrifying thought.
