If you feed ducks bread at the pond, I will find you

You won't hear me coming, either. I figured at this point, it was common knowledge that bread is unhealthy for ducks (and nearly all birds). If you must feed the ducks, feed them something healthy. Or the only thing I'll be feeding you is the concrete curb.

Here's what you can feed the ducks:
-Sliced grapes
-Chopped lettuce
-Frozen peas
-Cracked corn
And more! Just google it.

I feed my ducks a mix of poultry feed (contains oats, grains, cracked corn, and vitamins) and dried mealworms as a treat.
Note: When I say "my ducks", I'm referring to my adopted ducks at the pond.

Also, don't feed in excess! Be mindful of how much you're throwing to the ducks. Not only can you pollute their water, but those dumbasses don't know when to stop eating and will gorge themselves on food (source: I've been thrown up on by a duck).

As always, keep a respectful distance and keep any pets on a leash. Don't chase them or stress them out, especially when ducklings are present.

(Yes, duck feeding is illegal in some areas, but the police will have to drag me away from where I stand)

Have fun and respect the wildlife.

Yes. It's a bit of a problem... but if the bread is wet enough, they don't have too much trouble. Bread is not the healthiest thing for people either...

But... who's going to bring lettuce to a pond? I don't think you even have to feed them, the bc ducks will just eat what's on and around the pond.

When my grandfather and I used to feed the pigeons in the park, we would bring dry corn and sum other seeds that he used to grow on his crops.
