I am easy to please. (plus outer worlds review)

I don't hate a lot of games. usually it's a case of "do I want to keep playing?". a game may be boring, repetitive, or confusing, maybe it just isn't engaging anymore, but i don't HATE those games. i appreciate what they try to do and often I do find some amount of enjoyment out of them. i realized this at the launch of the not so hit game: phantom fury. I started playing a little, cautiously optimistic, because it was getting a lot of flack from online critics, and the Dev's response wasn't the BEST. then again, it's a sequel to one of my all time faves. so i started playing, and, well, I had a good time. So when people would bash the title i was like, " it ain't THAT bad". of course i got called a bot, an idiot, a dev's alt account, an intern, but what really stuck with me was "Easy to please". was I really? i asked a few acquaintances of  mine on discord, and one said "well, i bet you can't find any enjoyment in 'sword of shodan' for the Sega genesis." wouldn't you know I did. i had a fun time, with an ATARI JOYSTICK CONTROLLER. (sword of shodan was on my Atari gamestation pro, btw the gamestation pro is REALLY worth your money if you want a damn fine emulation box and dedicated console with really fun games.)

why must i assault your screen to tell you this? here's why:

I. HATE. OUTER. WORLDS.

outer worlds is the most unenjoyable, bootleg SLOP that I have EVER played. FUCK THIS GAME. the political BULLSHIT, the LAUGHABLE combat, the IRRITATING FUCKING CHARACTERS! I HATE THIS GAME. is it the worst game I have played? no, it is not. what separates those from this is at least the other games I have played put in some effort! they did the work, they had SOME good moments! I have a remarkable ability to sit through a slog of a game to find the good part. I remember the good, forget the bad. I couldn't do that here, you know why? because it was ALL SLOG. the entire FUCKING GAME is BULLSHIT. The hype was bullshit, this isn't New Vegas 2! it's no thanks, FUCK YOU. the story? BULLSHIT, this doesn't have any meaningful arc or decisions you can make. the message? well, i can deal with an opposing opinion as a theme for a game, if it's subtle and not beat over your head, or makes SENSE. like bioshock, i disagree with the message portrays but there is no way i can argue this is a bad game, with a bad story. outer worlds? all it says is CORPORATIONS BAD. never giving a meaningful answer as to WHY. why would any of this actually happen? why is everyone a FUCKING MORON?! the combat is laughably bullshit easy, the level cap is bullshit, every part of this game, is BULLSHIT.

FUCK THIS GAME. if you were planning on buying this, DON'T. Don't play this! Don't even PIRATE IT! it's not even worth the 3 megabyte save file hidden within your computer. FUCK THIS GAME.

sorry for getting so frustrated, i just needed a vent. but seriously, i am begging you, don't waste your life trying to suffer through this game. it's bad from the very start, and never gets better.
