Low-Calorie Pancakes with Toppings
Total Calories: 130 (Including butter, whipped cream, strawberries, and syrup)
Pancakes Alone: 70 Calories (Makes 2 decent-sized or 3 medium-sized pancakes.)
Ingredients:
For the Pancakes:
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder (0 calories)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (0 calories)
- 2 tablespoons of oat flour (42 calories)
- 3 tablespoons of egg whites (25 calories) or ~2 eggs worth
- Sweetener to taste (I used 2-3 tsp, 0 calories)
For the Toppings:
- 1.5g butter (10 calories)
- 100g strawberries (30 calories)
- Walden Farms syrup or Skinny syrup (0 calories)
- 10g non-fat whipped cream (10 calories)
Directions:
Prepare the Pan: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add a little water or oil (I used water on a non-stick pan).
Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, oat flour, egg whites, and sweetener. Stir until well mixed.
Cook the Pancakes: Pour the batter onto the heated pan, forming 2-3 pancakes of your desired size. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
Add Toppings: Once the pancakes are cooked, top them with 1.5g of butter, 100g of strawberries, Walden Farms syrup, and 10g of non-fat whipped cream.
Serve and Enjoy: Plate the pancakes, add the toppings, and enjoy your delicious, low-calorie breakfast!
