so like i get why ppl were confused when twilight was made a princess, like what did she do other than make friends, but i dont hate it

i also dont hate princess cadence, or shining armor, or how celestia and luna were portrayed, or anything like that

i do hate diamond tiara and silver spoon, i cant stand them

now why i was going to write this post is because i never understood why the cmc felt they had to endure any and all bullying by diamond tiara, silver spoon, and babs seed in that one episode all alone

"well telling an adult would defeat any and all conflict" it would give the girls an outlet to talk to about how it makes them feel? plus it doesnt have to stop all conflict tbh, their conflict was pretty mediocre to begin with

however it took it a step too far when diamond tiara and silver spoon brought up scootaloos wings for me

while watching that episode i explicitly asked myself "can they even get like some new material or something instead of their lack of cutiemarks?" and then they went for ABLEISM and i was looking at my screen, jaw agape, eyebrows creased in concern and disgust, like WHAT THE FUCK?!??!?!?!?! 

and the fact that they didnt even TELL ANYONE WHAT HAPPENED OR WHAT THEY SAID????? LIKE THATS A BIG FUCKING DEAL??????

they LITERALLY HAD THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO TELL RAINBOW DASH THAT DIAMOND TIARA AND SILVER SPOON WERE BEING ABLEIST BITCHES AND THEY JUST COMPLETELY DODGED THE QUESTION. I DONT GET IT????

i can get the critique of "oh well having them no longer be bullied would eliminate the conflict" or whatever but could we at LEAST draw the line at scootaloo being made fun of for her smaller wings????? a literal disability?????? and watching scootaloo internalize that was both heartbreaking and infuriating as someone with a disability (true its not physical but its still there). 

like could they AT LEAST HAVE MENTIONED THAT????/ TO SOMEONE????? ANYONE?????? HELLO??!??!?!?!!!?!? true im barely into season 5 and i dont remember if any of that was addressed but at this point it wasnt addressed and it was never mentioned again like THATS AN ISSUE????????? and maybe could they confide in someone at least ONCE like "hey this is all happening and it sucks what can i do to make myself feel better" or SOMETHING like they dont even have to mention diamond or silver by name they could just say like "hypothetically if someone was being bullied what could they do to make it better" or whatever. plus we all know that telling teachers wont do shit but maybe they could confide in their respective sisters or something like "hey this is annoying can u give me some advice" or SOMETHING guhhhh

watching that ep i was literally screeching like TELL SOMEONE?!?!??!?!? THAT YOUR DISABILITY WAS MADE FUN OF?!??!?!?!??! THATS NOT COOL!??!?!?!??!?
