I ordered an old camera a while back and had some problems with the memory. The camera itself had a few megabytes of internal memory but it was only enough for a few photos and a few seconds of video + I couldn't transfer anything from the internal memory to my computer at least as far as I'm aware and if I could I couldn't easily do it so I knew I had to get an SD card. I got a 2GB SD card since the camera specs said that was the max amount it could take. When I got the card though it wouldn't work. Amazon reviews for the card said it didn't work and my computer didn't recognize it so I thought it was just defective but it worked on my laptop so the card was fine. I then came across an old forum post from someone having the same problem as me and a comment suggested using a card lower than 2GB since people sometimes have problems with 2GB cards. I then ordered a 1GB SD card which just came in today and it works just fine with the camera. If anyone else out there has a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 and is having problems with 2GB SD cards, try using a 1GB SD card and that should fix it.
I FINALLY GOT MY CAMERA WORKING !!! :)
