btw, i've vastly improved the portability/cross-compatibility of my source code for a game engine i'm writing. however, this improved code is trapped on my toughbook and a zip100 disc until i get the usb zip100 drive i'm waiting for in the mail. it can compile to run the software-based renderer mid a sundry compiler argument if you don't have a compatible graphics driver ( otherwise it just fucking crashes ). i'll try to improve it some more so that it may compile without using the renderer feature althogther, so that it can run either with sdl1.2 or sdl2. i'm hoping i can keep it so that sdl would be the only dependency.
