I'm 18 now

Date: 7 may 2024 

My birthday was the 5th but I didn't think abt writing abt it until now. I got some nice gifts, a watch, a keyboard for my Ipad, money and clothes. My brother came home for my birthday, my other brother that lives at home didn't show up. He was out drinking instead, but I guess that's fine. I feel kinda anxious abt being 18, had to go to the doctor today and she went thru what will happen in terms of my medicines and such now that I'm 18. I didn't understand a word she said and then at the end I left still no knowing a thing. Feels like a lot of responsibilities, I'm sure I'll figure it out though.

Also I've been playing league with my brother after school recently and it's really fun. My other brother has just been laying around the house looking like shit. Not trying to be mean but if yk yk, alcoholics dont look very good sometimes, it's actually kinda unsettling seeing him like that.

To end on a good note I'll say I'm also excited to be 18, I can drink, get my drivers license, and vote. So that's pretty cool, I also have to say it feels sort of freeing to be an adult. Feels like a new chapter, a new chance for redemption. Gonna take a while until I'm used to that term though, "adult", sounds disgusting but I'll have to get used to it.
