Ideas for a new Deadpool game

I recently pirated, played, and beat the Deadpool game on PC. It was fun. Not as good as DmC and it's fairly short, but it's a interesting and funny game that's fun to play nonetheless. And since we haven't seen a new solo Deadpool game before or since this game came out, I thought I'd share my ideas for a new Deadpool game. I won't talk about fan-fiction ideas for the story, just general ideas for a game.

Idea #1. More freedom in play style. Something interesting about the Deadpool game is that it's combines being a hack-and-slash with being a third person shooter. It's not like Devil May Cry where pulling out guns is just kinda something you can do, the games has dedicated aiming and reloading systems for it's guns. Some parts of the game require you to use melee weapons to take out enemies, and some require you to use guns. So, what I would do in a sequel is to design the game in such a way that the player can choose between these two gameplay styles however they want. What I mean by that is to allow the player to, if they wish, play the whole game as a hack-and-slash/beat 'em up game, play the whole game as a normal third-person shooter, or mix and match between the two throughout the game.

Idea #2. Add a morality system. As I'm sure you're aware, Deadpool is a morally-grey anti-hero character. As such, a character like Deadpool would be perfect for a game with morality system. Let the player as Deadpool decide how Deadpool acts in relation to the world and characters around him. I would imagine this can be achieved by allowing to player to make certain choices during gameplay, such as, for instance, killing non-hostile NPCs to gain evil/bad karma, or allowing the player to interact with characters through dialogue options, Mass Effect-style. Or you can do both.

Idea #3. Use a cel-shaded art style. Cel-shading is a stylistic technique often used in games to give a cartoon or comic book-style effect. You see it a lot in licensed games based cartoons and comics, such as the Ultimate Spider-Man game, a game about another popular Marvel character. So, it would make sense to make a Deadpool game with such graphics. In particular, assuming the game's gonna be as comedic as the previous Deadpool game, a cartoon-y and stylish look could work for an "wacky" game that doubles as a spectacle fighter.

So yeah, these are my ideas for a new Deadpool game. Feel free to share any ideas you have for a new game about Deadpool. Bye.

OHH!!!!!! I like these ideas a lot!!! And it could give a lot of nuance to the "dialogue" between player and Wade. In the current game it's more of a straight line story (which many are) but with a character like Wade, making one of those decisions-change-the-ending mechanics would be so much fun

and it would be even funnier when you go to choose something he would NEVER do and he groans and moans about it while he does it XD because he has to but he sure as hell is going to complain about it
