found out about this game, or mod i guess. i watched some guy talk about it and then watched jacksepticeye's playthrough on it! i have totally no interest in doom but i honestly thought the game was horrifically beautiful. so gorgeous. so haunting. 

and even though its pretty much stated that the game is based off liminal spaces and house of leaves i cant help but think like dude... this is SO yume nikki. like HELLO??? going through doors? endlessly walking through area's that lead to other areas and clicking seemlingly random objects that cause events. areas and particular scenarios based on dreams in the journal? DREAMS IN A JOURNAL. cmon guys. and people referring to the place you go to through the mirrors as "the mirror world", god. it really wouldnt surprise me if it turned out it was yume nikki inspired. 

I took a bit of inspo of the mirror bit into my story too! hehe. i think it would be cool to have a bit in neophobia in the good route (probably should have a better name for it lol) where Audity just randomly decides to go through her bathroom mirror and end up in some weird ass place and then after a while she wakes up on the cold ass bathroom floor becuase she randomly experienced a hyper realistic daydream. becuase ya know, shes mentally ill and in THIS route you make her try and improve her life which caused her mental health to spiral. and it would be sick becuase she has servere identity issues and like, mirror. 

one more rant, this FUCKING SONG. ugh, been getting into creepy media lately especially song related. recently listened to a exetended 10x creepier remaster of that album about dementia so this SLAPS. so haunting and so FUCKING UGHHH SO GORGEOUS!!!!
