day 15 - checking in

I went to the grocery store ! Plus got a lovely walk in because of it, the weather was beautiful and i saw a little kitty coming home. Then I took an everything shower which was much needed so I'm feeling squeaky clean and feeling good because of it. I don't think I'll get to painting today because it'll be a still life and I need to get something for it, but I finished up my sketch for it so I know what I'm going to do at least.

I'll also be tidying up my apartment/room later. Right now I'm just spending some time with the roomies because they're going to Oliver's dad's house in Kitchener for a couple days. I hate having to be in the apartment alone. I've always thought of myself as a bit of an introvert loner. I enjoy time by myself and to myself, I like being alone in my own company. But any time it's just me in the apartment I go crazy, I'm already in my own head so much so when there isn't anyone even to just talk and joke with, I bottle everything up even more.

Luckily they're only gone for a couple days so I'll just enjoy having the place to myself because it doesn't happen very often. I get to walk around naked and listen to my music as loudly as I want which I enjoy. I can keep myself company without letting my thoughts and feelings get the best of me. I'm also excited to be able to cook dinner without anyone around, no mess already in the kitchen. Maybe I'll pick up a little wine or a treat for myself to enjoy or something.
