•Asteria is the second oldest of the Starcatchers, having previously been a goddess existing alongside Gaea (her brother), though suffering the 'consequences' of her actions, she's now cursed to live as mortal.

•By nature, she should reside in the sky amongst the stars, but she can't. The closest she can come to this is the Comet Oak which resides at Tycho's core, and the cliffside by the ocean.

•Asteria spends most of her time attempting---vainly---to be acknowledged by Gaea. Her devotion to a God who cares so little for her led to her growing reckless and desperate. She goes to drastic measures in Gaea's name, despite the fact that the Earth wants nothing to do with her.

•She is afraid of Saturn, partially due to her own guilt. They serve as naught but a reminder of her lack of control, and her failure to protect Seraph from her own hand.
