opera night 1

Sharing from ma phone bc today was a busy day! We're abt to go in the pit for act 2 of the opera :3. Maybe if I have time I'll update how it went later. This is my first time being in the pit :O. One time I auditioned in high school to be in the pit for Anastasia but the first two chairs of each section got in :P. Kinda expected, but I'm glad I tried at least

My pass or fail class had its first session today, and we just went over what the process would be for our portfolio to get into the visual comm program. It's a bit scary, the thought of not getting in, but looking back at all my projects, I think I'd have a pretty good chance. In my drawing class, we're starting a unit on using transparency in our compositions :O! I came up with an idea of a person standing in the field of spikes from the WIPP's proposition of how to deter people from buried nuclear waste, I'll show my thumbnails here when they're finished :3. My professor even suggested that I could animate this project, which I think I'll talk to her about.

Anyway, that was my day. I need to add radioactive materials and safety data sheets into my general interests now that I've remembered it lol.
