5 weeks post jaw surgery!!

Haii everyone!!!

5 weeks ago (22nd of February) i had top jaw surgery to correct an underbite i've had all my life.

I'm still a little bit swollen and have some numbness in some areas BUT i feel alot better and i can slowly start eating normally again this week!!! And then at the 6 week mark (next thursday) i should be able to eat whatever i want!! i am SO gonna buy pizza i swear i miss pizza qwq

I didn't even have that much pain and the experience at the hospital was rlly good!!! So happy i went through with this and fixed an insecurity i've had since i was 11 years old!!!

I do still have to wear my braces and elastics for a while but that's okay!! Can't wait to be completely done with everything though cuz i've been in and out of the orthodontists office since i was 11 and i'm just done xD

Thank god insurance covered everything XD I hate living in the Netherlands but i'm grateful that we don't have to pay for healthcare, just insurance TwT
