plushies and social media woes

so, i made an instagram for my plushies and misc toys i have in my collection, and it's doing okay, i suppose. i like showing off my little dudes, and other people seem to like them as well. that being said, i've been finding myself getting caught up in the number of followers and likes i have, which is exactly what i didn't want to happen.

i'm just so sick of being a part of social media. it's exhausting, the excitement of validation is fleeting, and everyone is toxic and rude as hell. yes, even here.

a few days ago, the internet went out for a few hours while i was with my boyfriend, and i really got to see what i'm like without my social media obsession. it was really nice. i played a cute single player switch game, and my bf and i drew together. heres what i drew:
