The Elephant Man

Date: 24 march 2024 

I watched the movie "The Elephant Man" yesterday. I cried a lot bcs of it. I felt his humiliation when he could finally imagine being with a beautiful woman such as Mrs. Kendal, and was then immediately caught thinking so by that fucker. Felt very degrading and scary thinking from his perspective. Couldn't feel his joy either cs it was based on things that I feel should come so naturally. Like not screaming in his face, talking to him like a human and not underestimating him because of his appearance. 

I also wonder if the movie makers new John Merricks real name was Joseph Merrick, or if they got it wrong considering many ppl seem to get it wrong.
