002 : visiting places as a tourist

i think my life goal is to travel the world, or atleast the most interesting places. however, i have this deadly fear of going to another country and being disrepectful, seen as weird, and everything related to that. no matter how much research i do, or how respectful i am, what if im immediately outcasted or unintentionally invade peoples place? i know it sounds irrational,  but i dont think i want to annoy anyone. 

should i just stay where i am, comfortable in my own area of the world? or should i bite the bullet and get out there. its a dumb rant, of course, but the fear and anxieties still linger.
