FML, and Fuck dealing with HMRC

I have been having issues with my household's Universal credit claim for the last 2+ months, just trying to get the help we are entitled to.

I still work a nearly 50 hour week, while my wife has been made redundant due to health concerns. We have fixed issues caused by UC botching our details repeatedly, and today we find out someone is claiming that my wife is working for a company 200 miles away.

After spending an hour on the phone to UC I find out I need to call HMRC to find out why they are claiming she is working. 45 mins on hold to them and I can no longer sit on the phone as I need to leave for work.

Looks like I'll try again in the morning. And possibly another month of us struggling to put a solid month of food on the table.

Fuck them, and fuck whoever has botched the information so that we are unable to receive the help we desperately need.

The one saving grace is that once it's all fixed we should get things back dated due to their incompetence, but that doesn't help us now. To say that I am stressed right now is an understatement.
