Don't force urself to laugh

I don't like when ppl laugh before I've even said the funny part of a story. Sometimes when I smile and begin saying something to a friend they immediatly laugh, I don't get why, I haven't said anything funny. It makes it feel very ingenuine and I worry that they will always just be forcing a laugh with me. Not a big deal but still something I've been thinking abt.
