Rant on helluva boss lol

Ok actually I have something else to say real quick, sorry I haven't been active on this site in like um...months but honestly I have my reasons (mainly the bot gore and nsfw accounts and all that) anyways I'm not really planning to be majorly active on this site for now buttttt I might make an odd blog here and there if I wanna scream about something lol.

Also this is a chaotic rant about the shows rather than an actual critique but if you wanna argue against anything I say feel free to do so I guess, I'll say this at the end again but im not trying to make anyone feel bad for liking these shows, like its none of my business lol, I'm just here an ex fan ranting about stuff I didn't like about these shows (mainly helluva) 

Anyways as the title suggests I uh don't really like vivziepops shows, or at least not anymore. When the pilots for both shows came out I actually really liked them!! Because I mean let's be for real?? Hazbin hotels plot was going to be about the princess of hell opening a rehabilitation hotel so that sinners/her people that she actually cares about could get into heaven or something or at least learn to be better people and y'know I may not have explained it well but that's a good story idea!! Like it's creative and original! Not the most original thing in the world, but it's good! 

Helluva boss was set in the same universe and was supposed to be about hellborn demon assassins going up to earth to kill people for demons that have unfinished business with humans and again not my best explanation but still! In my opinion a good silly plot that could be perfect for a silly little demon show, these shows may not be for everyone but if they were actually executed well they could've been great shows!

So what am I trying to say? I'm trying to say is that these shows had MAJOR potential, and seeing all that major potential get squashed becauseeeeeeeeeee...what exactly? Like I don't get what was the problem? I mean at least in helluva boss (I admit I haven't watched Hazbin hotel but I've seen a lot of clips and screenshots and other people talk about it) there was only like 2 maybe 3 episodes that actually stuck with the original plot? (Not including the pilot) I'm not saying you can't have subplots or deviate from the original plot but come on! SO MANY pointless episodes that focused either on some random characters daddy and or ex issues or it was just a horny stolitz episode (stolitz makes me sick to the core and I'll explain that later) OR it was just a completely pointless episode that I might not even remember because it was so pointless and boring! Like??? Why is there only a few episodes that are actually about Blitz's company? Why do we know almost nothing about Luna and Millie despite being part of the main cast? Why the fuck is Octavia the most complex female character even though she's not relevant to the plot in the slightest??? Like why should I care about some bird freaks emo daughter like cmon I came here for the demon assassin comedy show (at least I think it was supposed to be a comedy idk). If I was to list off every problem this show has we'd be here forever.

Most of the characters are either  Uninteresting or pointless or underdeveloped or even better overdeveloped(in all the wrong ways). I already said this but Octavia like ik she is probably the most interesting female character in the show right now but that's mainly because we got to see how Stolass and Stella's relationship affected her and for a helluva female character she actually has some personality that isn't just being an asshole, like again who is she lol how does she even tie into the main plot appart from the one Interaction she had with Luna that ended up being about stolas anyways. Even if shes a likeable character she's pretty useless honestly.

On to a sadly less likeable character.....Stella, my girl was done DIRTY. Her entire personality is quite literally being an evil bitch and that's about it. I LOVE evil villains that are only evil for the sake of being evil but they actually have to be enjoyable??? Shes just infuriating and not even in a good way, even hardcore fans only like to shit on her because she hurt their uwu baby boy Stolas but she's literally in the same situation as stolas if not worse? Like if I was her I'd just kill him myself lol. She has been forced into this marriage as well, stolas DID cheat on her and the show just tries to justify that in every way possible (like every other bad thing Stolas does)but cmon y'all cheating is cheating Stolas is still to a certain extent in the wrong. 

Ok this is very long so I'll just talk about stolitz before finishing this cause I did NOT expect myself to have all this shit to say bruh. 

Anyways Stolitz is an awful ship, it's awful and the show should NOT be trying to make it sexy and attractive it should NOT be trying to make it a justifiable ship no matter what because if you think about it for 5 seconds it is literally a rich royal man forcing a poor man into a sexual relationship just so he can keep his dang job? Like excuse me? I get that this is hell but why is this seemingly the most popular ship? Why is everyone like "omg guys they're so cute together" like it is NOT CUTE??? maybe I'm missing something but every time I see these two together it is EXTREMELY uncomfortable, like stolas is always sexually harassing blitz even Infront of other people AND NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT, and don't talk to me about how blitz isn't actually the victim because he VERY much is. That one episode where stolas gets really hurt and at the end of the episode blitz "realises" stolas can get hurt or something?? Like what the fuck was that? I get that blitz could have some kind of feelings for stolas but the end of that episode was just crying about how boo hoo stolas got an ouchie ooie oh no poor stolas omg blitz doesn't care about stolas omg did you see the text messages stolas send to blitz and he barely responds??? Waaaa. Like bitch no every time the show made stolas a victim a died a little on the inside, he is ANYTHING but a victim. 

Anyways I hope my rant was at least somewhat comprehensible but these are just some of my thoughts about this show, either way it would be so much better if it just did what it wanted to do in the first place and didn't make an unnecessary amount of shipping, random characters, and stuff that just doesn't matter because thats all it is honestly, there is no actual plot It just does shit at random. I'm probably not gonna talk about hazbin cause I didn't watch it and I don't intend to honestly.

I'm just gonna say it but if it wasn't for the animation quality, okayish art design and the joke of a  "queer rep" show. No one would actually like this show at the end of the day, it's jokes are on the same level as those rip off family guy cartoons and it feels like it's written by an edgy 13 year old. 

ALSO I AM NOT TRYING TO CONDEMN ANYONE FOR LIKING EITHER OF THESE SHOWS!! I couldn't care less if you're a helluva and or Hazbin fan lol there is still at least a little appeal to these shows that I can somewhat understand and if you like them then that's not my problem lmao I'm just here as an ex fan ranting about how the shows got a little ruined in my own personal opinion.
