rot rot rot

all i do is rot rot rot rot rot. thats about it. for 8 years this is how i've been.Β 

i know i should be doing more with my life but i just cant bring myself to care. every day its just another false reassurance to my parents : "yeah i wanna study this", or "yeah i've been applying to some jobs".

its all bs.Β 

i know that but part of me doesnt wanna believe it.Β 

where do you turn when youve already dug yourself into a hole so big you can't crawl out?

I've been in that place when I've been depressed but lying to my parents right now feels worse so I've just been taking very tiny steps towards these goals day by day.
