So I've been doing my research about EVs in general and this model set to release early 2022 in the US looks very promising. I've never owned an EV and in my findings have discovered that previous EV owners switched back to their standard gas cars after.
What I like about the KIA EV6:
-aesthetically different and the backline just looks so premium, setting it apart from other EVs in our market
-roomy interior and headspace
- screen panel-- huge, almost takes up 1/2 of dashboard
-modern interior. I'm not sure about how durable vegan leather's going to be in the long run though.
-versatile. I'm in a transition period of my life where I could possibly have kids in the near future yet I don't want to compromise my current life and own a mini-van. Maybe I'm thinking ahead but I want to own my next car and not switch so often (lol, I've kept the same phone for years now. I'm not one to want to keep changing it.) One of the marketing promos got me-- it said "the KIA EV6 (GT) is the 1st EV vehicle that you can take on the racetrack and then go pick your kids up in." I was hooked. Nice job marketing team.
-Less emissions
-power source for camping.
-sun roof!
-chic and affordable
-options. It'll be available in 3 options: EV, GT, & GT Line.
Anyone have more info regarding drops out here? I know UK's getting theirs by the end of this year. I'd like to hear a owner's POV. So far my source to drive and range is Asian Petrolhead on YT and Raiti's Rides and some articles. Also, I'm on the waitlist for the standard model. Fingers crossed it all works out.
