The Night Circus *Spoilers*

I finished reading The Night Circus and I have to say I am disappointed. So many people reviewed this book and said it was the best thing they had ever read. I stupidly got the book, trusting the booktok people (never trust those people). When I read the summary I thought it was going to be a light heated comedy about two circuses competing with each other. I was sorely mistaken. It was a very confusing book to get through, I honestly thought one character was the other for about half the book, that might be because I'm stupid but whatever. My biggest gripe is that they never explain the magic. And the general public doesn't know about it. But some people do. At the end of the book the two characters turn into... nothingness?  They don't even know how they did it. And they neverrrr explain.
