Reddits' r/suicidewatch is a forum I admit I read more than i should for my mental health, I have always been interested in the topic of suicide ever since I was little for some unkown reason. Curiosity is a big factor since I've thought of myself that more than an intelligent person I'm simply too curious for my own good. A main topic I dabble my curiosity in is life and death, moreso the act of not wanting to, a theme so basic but so complex, everything has a start and finish being or not being doesn't matter.
Suicide and everything revolving it is one of the best discoveries I have come across, that line that others purposefully taunt between life and death. Sounds painful, a permanent action that scars not only physically but mentally. To come to a point of wanting to dance between the fine line, the feeling of limbo for a short while.
Blue Period, an anime that everyone should experience, touches the subject of ctb from a different standpoint. A secondary character, a school girl that tells us her story and how she wants to kill herself, she seeks reason in a friend and they say how that if she truly wants to kill herself she has to do it naked. Because if u can't then you still care, u still have dignity and pride. I watched this quite some time ago, how the act of being naked infront of others is a pure form of intimacy or of not caring, two sides of the same coin. When you can ctb naked then go ahead, if you can't stand to exist any longer,
then take it all off, not only your clothes but your mask, your walls...let it all go.
