getting back into sewing :P

I broke down and ordered a bunch of fabric by the yard along with denim sewing needles. I have a bunch of cool ideas for designs right now! I'm so excited for the package to come in. Something I don't like is that whenever I get into a creative hobby again, I run out of creative steam very quickly. I want to stick to these interests, but it's so difficult for me to stay invested. I want to master, like, every creative hobby there can be. I want to dress cooler, too. I want to be one of those cool people who sew their own designs and have posts dedicated to their process.

I also want to eventually sell some stuff. I've sold a few small sewing projects, but they were more of thrift flips. I want to make my own tops and blouses and be able to give them names. Like how on Brandy Melville and shit, the tank tops have names that are often referred to and respected seriously. The Dana top, or whatever. I would name a sweater design 'Marlowe', I've always had this affection for 'old-fashioned' or 'old person' names. When there's a young person with an older sounding name, they always have this interesting juxtaposition to them.

I'll share updates on my creations if I remember. I've been down lately, and I hope making something will make me feel less shitty :P
