i didn't even do that much but i spent so much time losing my place onwhat i was editing and im too stubborn to use helpful tools like the profile preview website thing. bleecchhh cough cough haaackkkk

but i did do a few fiddlings with my profile. it doesn't look any better... i need a more naturalistic style for my account, but the editing is so tedious i don't want to bother... i downloaded like 30 pixel graphics and backgrounds cause i had all these ideas and once it was time to execute the ideas.... sputtering smoke out of my ears.  My god

yup.... badass. cannot wait to make a fullsuit of him. i made a head for him back in 2019 but failed to make any sort of reasonable ventilation so he's literally a hazard to wear 🧍 but i'll do a lot more research this time and figure out a way to stealthily give him vents.

i already want to redraw this ref, though. i hate drawing digi legs especially at this angle. i've been drawing furries for most of my life and just struggle still. his ass isnt supposed to be that fat! also, just this took so many hours because im very slow, so i kind of rushed it towards the end cause i wanted it to just be OVER with. needs more tweaking to look good.

my theriotypes (am i using that right?) subsist of him, monsters, and general Beasts. vague, i know. but i cannot deny the sensation of ears swiveling atop my head or a tail balancing me as i walk.

i swapped fursonas very frequently before i came up with jude, i struggled to identify with any one animal species in general... jude's first iteration was made as a joke, he was just a black/green shiba inu with aquatic features intended to poke fun at the abundance of hypergeneric furries. inexplicably i fell in love with him and kept making tweaks to his design.

you can copy and paste pics on spacehey??? okay. well this is his first ever drawing.... made early 2017. that makes jude almost 7 years old.... that's the longest i've ever had a fursona, i think. this is his second iteration.... less bland but.... At least he's evolving...

he lost the fins for some horns and a rattlesnake tail. he was very specifically a black shiba inu and saharan sand viper hybrid.

this color palette is just a "shiny" form. proportions. tiny ass legs. but in 2019 i watched moomins for the first time and was struck with inspiration. he lost his snout but still had a visible mouth fsr. also lost the rattle.

in october '19 i redesigned him into this form. this was how he looked until this year.

look i even redrew the pic. the only thing that changed between 2019-2023 was he turned less lime green and more teal.

idk why i am compiling all this. i have been hyperfxated on him in the back of my mind lately. might as well share his history.... i'm gonna stop writing now because tehres so many images on this blog post that its making these words lag as i type. like im several words ahead and i dont see them on screen yet. bad.
