I Spoke to a Famous MySpace Scene King, Now He's Sending Me A Candle

This picture is old af, from June's now privated Instagram account where all of her old emo/scene photos are archived. I have no idea when someone saved this photo or where they posted it to, but now its like...used ALL THE TIME on TikTok.

So me and June decide to watch more of his reels. They were all very funny emo nostalgia content, very accurate to the myspace time period. Then we came across posts where he shared old photos of him from 2007. I couldnt fucking believe who this guy actually was at first. I was blown away when I realized who it was.

I'm not even joking guys. It's really him. It's the ACTUAL Alex McKee. The man is BACK. He's a simple gay southern country boy who never let go of his emo phase haha. I decided to shoot him a message cause I was so flattered that a guy who's face is SO WELL KNOWN in the emo/scene sphere actually liked mine and June's room enough to use as a background in his reels. He got back to me pretty quickly after I reached out to him about it! He said our room is so cool and he loved it so much and said he can change it for future videos if we want. And I was like HELL NO BRO KEEP IT. I WANT an emo legend using our room as a background, it feels so validating! We chatted for a minute and then he was like "hey what scents do you like??? I make homemade candles and I would love to send you one as a gift for letting me do this!". So I told him I love vanilla, and he said he will show me a pic of it when it is done and then he will send it to me and June! He said "Thank you for letting me digitally hang out in your room!" LOL. He also followed me back on Instagram. I think hes such a nice guy. I needed more buddies anyways. I hope we can build a friendship. Id love to meet him and his husband someday. It really never is a phase for any of us. Us emos gotta stick together XD.
