I am currently wrapping up a contest entry for a state-wide art competition. I am not expecting to win, I’m mainly wanting to get experience under my belt. No matter if I just get a participation award, or if I get first place, I don’t care. I just want to be able to add this to my portfolio for when I begin job hunting for my permajob. Of course, the way I’m working now is not going to work for me forever, so I have to begin constructing my portfolio. That is why I am entering this competition. My teacher was the one who originally signed me up, despite me saying no initially. She had seen one of my sketches and was so impressed by it, she wouldn’t let me submit anything else into the competition. 

Meanwhile, I am working on animation projects, and schoolwork. The workload has been a lot, but not overwhelming for me, so that is lucky. Considering the near future I will probably be more active on here as well as many big projects being uploaded to tumblr. I recommend everyone stay tuned and up to date with my socials, if you are awaiting content from me. 

I apologize to those of you who have been expecting content and I’ve failed to produce as fast as you’d like, I have gotten a few complaints for lack of content here, as well as sketchers united and YouTube. I’m on here to set the record, I do not think I will be using sketchers united as often as I once did, or even going inactive. Sketchers united is a wonder app in theory, and it worked well for a solid year for me. Unfortunately, the community is not one I’d like to be interacting with, consisting of art thief’s, bugs, gore spammers, and, honestly the amount of people posting literally anything other than art bothers me. I don’t want to offend anyone, but a lot of the community also makes me uncomfortable and kind of weirds me out. 

After that uncomfortable topic, I’m going to wrap this blog up. TLDR, I’m working on my art career, and sorry for the lack of content. Big things coming. Be prepared.
