Big corparations & individuality is the reason everyone is burned-out

I believe happiness comes from seeing your progress, You don't mind spending weeks redecorating your room, working on this project you are invested in or grinding minecraft for 72 hours straight to build a nice house. However, working a Job is tiresome and overstimulating. You feel replaceable, useless, never good enough. Because they can and will replace you, your company doesn't care. It's not that you're lazy because you don't like your job. People crave the feeling of being useful and hardworking, but not when the goal is nowhere to be seen and all the hard work you do comes to nothing. Doing your best every day and not seeing any progress. Because the progress is just the company getting richer.

I can't work like that.

But spending weeks building a chicken coop, even if sometimes I have to start all over, is so much fun. I'll sleep on the problem and wake up early and energized, hyped to get back to my project. That's because I can see the progress.

That's how I want to live.

When you think about it, the individuality that we have been pushed in is really inconvenient and stressful. Back in the day, a whole family or group would live together. They could share chores like cooking, washing, cleaning, looking after children.

Now we expect every single person to do every single task themselves, every single day. It is an unimaginable amount of work to keep everything running. Definitely in a fast paces environment like today.

In my perfect world we all work as a team, everyone has their own preferred jobs or tasks, but you help others and others help you. After a long day of building that chicken coop in the hot sun, you can sit down at a fresh made dinner. Or you sit in the shade/play in the water during the hot sun, and later cook some soup. It’s all so much easier if you share.

I find Jobs these days unreasonable, definitely towards neurodivergent people. Weird schedule, overstimulating, masking to not get fired, stupid work clothes, getting judged or bullied, Constantly having to be reachable by phone and email, having to spend your ‘’break’’ talking with colleagues you dont like. And spending your holidays checking emails and still answering phone calls from work.

I will not make money and i wont need to make money. I work now to buy a pice of land and some thing to start up but from there i want to be fully self sufficient so i wont have to pay for things. the little things i still do need to pay like health incurance i will do from my savings or make a little money selling things from the farm. Life is not that expensive if you are willing to not use any comforts like wifi, heating, ovens, refrigerators. car.
