I want a family photo with me,my parents and all my siblings. I won't get it and I know that. The closest thing is my graduation photo. I forced my siblings to stand with me all together in age order. It was only me who was smiling in the middle . But my parents weren't there. My mom died before I even made it to high school and my dad died before I could finish it. The only photo I have of both my parents together was taken before I was even born. I will never have a family portrait. I won't have a picture perfect family. And I am okay with that I've made my peace and accepts my fate.
I hope my future wife will understand my obsession of getting family photos. Of wanted everything in our life together documented. I want our family to have so many pictures to choose from for our funeral. I hope my family never has to question if I loved them. I want photo evidence of it. Proof that I was here. Proof I made a life for myself. Proof that I love it.
I will never have the family photo I wanted, but someday I will make one. And I will be smiling.

You will! Theres a lot of people out there that loves the idea of a nuclear family and vintage photos are popular:3 You should start by gettin a polaroid soon!
P.S: you should take photos of lots of thing aside from family too, world is beatiful

hii i do actually have a Polaroid camera i take lots of pictures of friends & pets or random things I'd like to have as a forever memory :) i dont take many of my family sadly.
