i dont think obesity is normalised? especially in todays society where most ppl will only treat u with respect if ur skinny. the problem is most ppl dont know what obese means and call every person who has a tummy obese

Obesity was never normalized. I think people don't even know how much body fat you need to have to be actually obese. People see overweight people and automatically assume they're obese. To be obese one needs to have 30.0 or higher BMI. An example, if someone is 167cm tall and weighs 70kg, they have 25.1, which is still considered NORMAL, but in today's society is viewed as fat. Someone 167cm tall would need to weigh 13kg more to be considered obese.
Also, obesity is caused by multiple reasons INCLUDING mental health, which skinny people and the industry makes sure to not allow them to have a healthy one.

side note, yes obesity shouldn't be glorified, but it's a fact that its definitely become normalized already in many places (esp the usa) ,,,. lets not encourage it, but this also doesnt give anyone the right to bully, harrass, or make fun of overweight people.
sometimes ppl really cannot control it,,. speaking from experience, im definitely not the biggest person out there but my whole life i have been made fun of for my weight no matter what i did via diets or working out or more dangerous "options". It led to worse problems i still deal with now, even as i work on myself (which has been going well recently, thankfully). so just take the "obesity shouldn't be normalized" with a grain of salt, and be respectful and actually help others on their journey instead of shaming them ^^
again i am not saying "obesity is okay", just that its not okay to harass others for their appearance

I understand the point of your blog. But you can't just say "we shouldn't normalize p0rn (or anything for that matter)" without understanding why it is a problem in the first place (saying as if p0rn wasn't already something intrinsic in our society).
I'll make it clear now, demonizing pornography won't solve this problem. The problem doesn't start when you enter the site and is far from over when you leave. What you do with it is leading to several men suffering from withdrawal, with unpredictable consequences such as approaching civilian women or repressing their desires and seeking even more obscure means to consume them.
Prohibiting, calling the police, isolating these men, with all of this, you're just patching up the problem, but you're not addressing its root cause. Every day, more men will turn to this, just like any other drug, such as alcohol and cigarettes.
Simply demonizing won't solve this problem. We need accessible therapy, proper sexual education in schools, a society that doesn't romanticize the need for a relationship at any cost. These are just a few of what I imagine to be real solutions to the pornography issue. Addiction is a disease and should be treated as such, just like depression or ADHD. Pretending it doesn't exist and ignoring it will only make the problem worse.
That's what i think.

I focused on the issue of pornography, but this basically applies to all topics on your blog. You can't "de-normalize" something without understanding why people are doing it in the first place.

agreed.

Agreed. I also think schools should include talking about pornography in sex education and it should not only cover porn addiction, but also the way porn makes us view sex/bodies, the way it creates unrealistic standards and ideals and the way the porn industry exploits women

If I told you how many insecure and confused boys and girls there are who know nothing about sex because of pornography, you wouldn't believe it.
by Keito Otori; ; Report
Oh, I'd believe it because I've seen them myself. The whole incel and red pill movement is a reflection of the negative impact pornography has on lonely men and boys

In the case of incels, I agree, but when it comes to red pills, I imagine the cause goes beyond pornography. In this case, it's all about the education and experiences from childhood that made these men believe that women are inferior beings, usually due to religion or family upbringing.

It's a mixture of all it seems like. The conservative ideas were already there and pornography and the rise of plattforms such as onlyfans only fuel the misogyny
