Former cult member?

Idk it's so weird to see myself as a "former cult member" because at the moment I didn't even know it was a cult, it's supposed to be a church and it technically is... but they behave as a cult more than just a church and do things that can't really be justified under religion...

I feel like I have no right to call myself that, because media portraits cults as something different than what I experienced... It feels like I'm overreacting but I know it is a cult... 

Idk it all seems so... unreal, I'm probably just dissociating tbh
