Do I know that this could be brought up against me in the court of law? yes. Do I understand that any future employer of mine could potentially access this? also yes. But i'm gonna say it anyways. So It was new years day, I was lighting fireworks and after it was all said and done i threw them away (Life lesson always dunk them in water for a day or two before throwing them out). A few friends and I were lighting the tiny little fire-cracker-whatever-they-are's when one of my friends dad comes out and starts yelling something about a fire, but he's so far away and nothing really clicks until I realized- oh shit the fireworks I threw in the trashcan. So I bolted into my alleyway where the fence of one of the houses is on fire, and i mean like- blazing you could see that thing from space. So i run inside and tell my mom as I start to dial 911 and frantically tell them that a house is on fire and that i think i caused it (spoiler alert i did) SO the cops and all the firemen come out and they hose it down. After the damage was assed we were told that 1. Everyone is fine and the house didn't catch on fire 2. the fire completely melted two garbage cans and two panels of fence, torched the ground, and punctured a gas-line because it melted the whole radiator thingy 3. I have to take a fire safety course at the fire station 4. I'm not gonna get charged with anything. Sooo yeah, If you're thinking of lighting fireworks please make sure you take the proper precautions in disposing of them. And then maybe you won't have to pay a shit ton of money and re-build a fence to make up for the damage and emotional scarring of your next door neighbor who you've never talked to.
