Day 78 of taking it easy because im sick

Today was kinda rough but it had its ups, me thinks. I don't have much of an intro so...

So, I skipped yesterday's entry because it was Christmas. I announced it at the end of day 77 and I just didn't feel like taking the time out of my evening to write on Christmas but I'm glad I did because I went to family until late last night. I'll give you an incredibly quick recap. We had the usual Christmas lunch and it was fun, a lot of good food and everything. Then we went over to some family in the evening, it was our aunt and cousins on my dad's side. You know the cool aunt? That's her. She's the cool aunt. She made us all mocktails and they tasted so good. Then me and my sister spent most of the time with our cousins, chatting and playing cards. Card games bring out the best in me because I'm cringe and I practice card tricks so that's where I can shine. Our cousins also had a friend of theirs over for the day and she was really nice. Like, you ever meet someone and they're just like the embodiment of maturity? That's her. She's the embodiment of maturity. She and one of the cousins made the same dessert and it was up to us to decide which one was better. I tried them and decided that my cousin's friend made the better dessert. It was good, what can I say? I later found out she put crean cheese in hers to make it taste better and that sounds insignificant and it probably is but not to me.

Present day, I've got diarrhea and stomach cramps. It's the cream cheese. I always track what I eat and it's the cream cheese. I know it. She was really nice but like she made me sick with that cheese. Why??? Ughhhhh...the horror...the horror...

I can't eat desserts on Christmas! What a horrid spell of misfortune! I'm feeling a little better now so don't worry too much. The cramps interrupted my sleep in the morning and I woke up wayyy too early and then ran to the toilet. 

I took a nap. It must've been from 12 until 2pm. I was so sleepy and then what topped it off was this movie. It wasn't black and white but it was boring. I watched New York, New York. It was directed by my favorite director, Martin Scorsese. The movie was just so boring and insufferable but the cinematography and the music was amazing. Even his weaker movies look great, technically. He makes it look so effortless. Anyway, enough movie reviewing, it put me to sleep. I've never been put to sleep because by a movie being boring since 2 years ago when I watched Zelig. Don't even waste your time with Zelig though but you can waste your time with New York, New York.

When I woke up from my nap, I remembered this Persona 4 comic, specifically this line where Yosuke says "naaapppp timmeee" and he passes out. It was made by Hiimdaisy and there's an iconic dub of it on YouTube, I'm not sure how well it aged but I love that comic dub. It was a big inspiration for me. I don't know, there's something about it and it's also kind of nostalgic. You know that feeling when you rewatch something and realize "oh...that's why I talk the way that I do" I quote that dub constantly. I wanna recommend but I haven't seen it in so long and I have no idea how it aged so I'll drop a link...Here...watch it at your own risk because there might be a terrible, abhorrent joke in there. It's like the Yu gi oh abridged. I also quote that regularly. I can do a damn good Tristan impression and when I hear Sexyback, I think of Yu gi oh abridged.

You read that last headline and I know exactly what you are thinking dear reader, "noooooo, they're talking about Shakespeare again!!!" I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just have to. I am just like Hamlet. I've said this like 3 times but every day something happens and I think "I'm just like Hamlet!" I always prove to myself that I'm Hamlet. Man...I love Shakespeare. Anyway, I was reading Moby Dick yesterday and then I told my sister that I need to read all these books to catch all the references in Moby Dick and she said I talk about literature too much. Chat, do I talk about literature in a cool way or in an annoying way? Please be honest. Anyway...I think this entry is coming to a close, I'm feeling a little better with my stomach and all and I hope all my readers and everyone else had a lovely Christmas or is having a lovely Christmas, if you don't celebrate Christmas then Please enjoy the holiday that your are celebrating, even if you're not celebrating anything, enjoy!
