okay, anyways. here are some life updates. i've been doing a whole lot of baking lately, i made my first ever rye sourdough the other day ~ it was very delicious despite the crumb being quite sticky & gummy (typical of rye due to how it interferes with gluten development within white flour . . . ) so next i'm making a basic sourdough with bread flour. My starter's name is Maja -- she's alive, an accumulation of yeasts and bacterias that feast on every new feeding of flour, it's a quite beautiful thing really. It's like having a child..

I also made a slavic drink -- kompot, yesterday for myself & my family. Growing up in europe, it still feels hard to cope with living in america even 10 years later. Even though the closest i've been to russia, ukraine, etc. is the czech republic, it still feels really nice making drinks like these. i recently moved back to the mountains (last month) and i'm so much happier up here. theres so much to see and do, theres even a nice lake thats a few minutes walk from my house. they're gonna make it where you can boat there soon enough which is really exciting, i think (^人^) id never go boating though, i'm scared of water & can't even swim .

the internet has been a bit sucky to be on as of late. people seem to never be able to hop off of my dick, but its okay, its just a testament to how much happier i am given i don't spend all of my time tabbing on people who i dislike & dont speak to those who annoy me. my friends make the internet so much easier and less annoying, i think. ~~
